5 Minute Microwave Baked Oatmeal

Don’t ask me what I was thinking when I decided I need to eat oatmeal in the middle of summer!  It just sounded good!

I didn’t want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen even though I wanted something tasty and delicious.

So I came up with 5 Minute Microwave Baked Oatmeal.  I wanted oven baked oatmeal but I was in no way turning on the oven.  It should be a rule no ovens turn on in the summer…ever!

Bring on a glass dish and some microwave for fast baked oatmeal.

That’s right no wasted time here. It’s not like you have a ton of time to play Betty Crocker
on busy days.

That doesn’t mean you don’t want to eat healthy. Don’t give up and submit to fast food. It usually isn’t going to be very healthy and its going to be more expensive to boot.

This breakfast is simple to and easy to mix together. It’s awesome because you can mix up the flavor and toppings with whatever you have on hand.

5 Minute from Start to Finish Microwave Baked Oatmeal

Healthy breakfast to stick to your weight loss goals. 5 minute baked oatmeal.

5 Minute Microwave Oatmeal Recipe

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • .5 rolled oats
  • 1 egg
  • 1 TBS maple syrup
  • .25 cup water
  • 1tsp vanilla
  • .5 cup greek yogurt
  • .5 scoop casein vanilla protein powder (this just ups the protein, if you don’t have it, don’t worry about it)
  • 1 nectarine
  • .5tsp of vanilla
  • cinnamon to taste

Mix first 5 ingredients in a microwave safe dish and microwave 1.5-2 minutes. Until ingredients set up. Let cool 1 Minute

Mix greek yogurt, vanilla and protein powder. Spread yogurt over set up oatmeal. Top with nectarine and cinnamon.

Gather ingredients

Mix ingredients
30 seconds
Microwave 2 minutes
Will microwaving oatmeal mix yogurt, vanilla and protein powder, and slice nectarine.
Cool 1 minute
Top with yogurt, nectarine, and cinammon
30 seconds

Boom! Breakfast is done.
